![]() ![]() What has your process been like regarding your zoom backdrop? Have you found yourself curating a backdrop or going with the flow? Have you opted for a photo backdrop? With the time, energy, and costs (so I've heard) that folks are spending on their zoom backdrops, I think a conversation may be needed about how employers support that. However, a word of caution: when expectations do not mirror reality, that is where I have concerns. My current thoughts is that our backdrop is yet another grey area of remote working but one with potential to facilitate a conversation on how we present who we are as individuals within a our new virtual professional environments. Are backdrops giving opportunities to employees to voice their beliefs when in a traditional office setting, they may face barriers (or even reprimandations) in doing so? Is this a way to, again, start a conversation implicitly, while also stating your beliefs?
